Kenneth Merle Berggren, 78, of Serena passed Friday afternoon March 9, 2018 at Loyola University Medical Center.           Kenneth was born March 21, 1939 in Sandwich to Russell & Mae (Jacobson) Berggren. He married Kathy (Dilbeck) August 23, 1969 at the Earlville United Methodist Church. His work was his life and he had been a farm machinery salesman for 30 years, working through Serena, Amboy and Ottawa. He had been attending the Earlville United Methodist Church.           He is survived by his wife Kathy; his daughter, Jodi Berggren of Matteson; his twin sons, Bryce Berggren & Bryant Berggren both of Oglesby; three sisters, Kathleen Berggren of Ottawa, Colleen Berggren of Serena, Pauline Berggren of Serena; four brothers, Truman Berggren of Serena, Gerald (Patsy) Berggren of Harding, Gary (Deborah) Berggren of Streator and Robert (Sue) Berggren of Serena.           He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Brandy Berggren; a sister, Kate Berggren; two brothers, James Berggren and Terrence Berggren.           Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Sheridan United Methodist Church with Elder Jack Wise officiating. Interment will be at St. Columba Cemetery. Following the comital service, the family invites friends and customers to join them at the Serena Twp.
