Kathryn D. Cunningham, age 85 of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. She was born January 16, 1933 in Peru, Illinois. Kathryn was a retired school teacher of District # 129 of West Aurora. She was a member of the Lucky Fifty Club. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Clarence L. Cunningham of Oswego; her children: Sally Bartlett of Center Point, TX, Dennis Cunningham of Oswego, Carol Cunningham of Oswego and Patricia (Hector) Serrano of Winter Garden, FL; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; her brother, William Lathrop, of NV; her sister, Jean Moore of IA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Jo Junas; two grandsons, John G. Kimpan III and Joseph G. Kimpan; her parents, Leroy W. and Clara (Janz) Lathrop; and numerous brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 3:00PM Until 7:00PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1801 S. Douglas Rd., Oswego, IL 60543. Mass of a Christian Burial will be Friday, November 30, 2018 at St. Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Risen Lord Cemetery.
