Karen S. nee Beilman Truemper, age 71, of Aurora, IL, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born August 19, 1946 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Leo F. and Mary E. Moldovan Beilman. Karen worked in sales with the Aurora Beacon News and Elgin Courier prior to her retirement in 2006. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurora, IL and an East Aurora High School graduate, class of 1964. Karen enjoyed gardening and also had a devout love of Christ. She is in heaven because she knew that Christ died on the cross for her. She felt she was put here on earth to witness God, help others, and share laughter and love. She is survived by her daughter Jenna Truemper of Aurora, IL, son John (Amy) Truemper of Kenosha, WI, grandchildren Aaron, Carissa and Jacob Myles, one brother James Beilman Moldovan of San Francisco, CA, her sister-in-law Lynn Beilman of South Carolina and many friends & relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, identical twin sister Kathy Hiland in 2000, a brother Leo A. Beilman and the love of her life Jim Duncan of Newark, IL. A celebration of life, love and laughter will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 85 S. Constitution Drive, Aurora, IL 60506 at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 24, 2018, with Pastor Danny Tutwiler officiating. At Karen's request, there are to be no flowers.
