Karen E. Berry, age 69, of Montgomery, IL passed away after a long illness at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born June 17, 1955, in Watertown, NY the daughter of Ward and Rose Toper Becker.

Prior to her retirement, she was an executive assistant at Lucent Technologies. Karen had an unwavering faith that kept her focused during her most difficult medical challenges. Her love of God and knowing that it was His path she was on made those dark days bright. She has a passion for her plants (of which there were many!) and a deep lover for God's creatures. Karen fed the squirrels and made sure they had boxes in her trees to keep them warm and safe. They had many names and the best quality snacks that money could buy!

Karen is survived by her siblings, Ward J. (Wanda Boggs) Becker, Christine Becker, Robert Becker, and Terry (Joan) Becker. She is survived by her nephew Daniel (Brittney) Becker, niece Courtney (Dylan) Becker, great niece Avery Becker, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Catherine Kush, and brother in law Kenneth Kush.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL. Burial will follow at Pearce Cemetery in Oswego, IL.

Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation or to the church/ charity of choice.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the DUNN FAMILY FUNEAL HOME with CREMATORY.
