K B Dheerendra, 88, of Aurora, IL died peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at his residence. He was born May 19, 1936, in India.

K B was a mechanical engineer working for Wabco - Division of Dresser Industries in Peoria, IL and Anchor Harvey Components, Inc., in Freeport, IL prior to his retirement in 2001. He was a Sri Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple devotee and volunteer in Aurora, IL.

Survivors include his wife Chandra D (Devi), two sons Sudheendra (Vanita) Dheerendra, Suresh (Sapna) Dheerendra, five grandchildren Ruhi Athreya, Rishabh Athreya, Kira Athreya, Arya Athreya, Reva Athreya, two sisters Madhura and Ambika. He was preceded by his parents, three sisters Pramila, Indumati, Susheela, and brother Upendra Athreya.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 2:00 until a Pooja at 3:30 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL. Cremation will follow at American Crematory in Oswego, IL.
