June K. Capet, 82 of Sheridan, formerly of Montgomery, passed away April 3, 2025. June was born June 13th, 1942 in Joliet to George and Evelyn McComb.

June was the best mother, grandmother and friend to everyone lucky enough to meet her. She loved her puppy dogs, her trams am, music, dancing and family time. Her smile, kindness and hugs were contagious. June was known as "Grandma June."

She is survived by her daughter, Tara (Wayne), her son Ted (Darlene), 6 grandchildren; Melanie (John), Heather, Geneva, Adam, Teddy (Megan), Dwayne (Chelsey), 11 great-grandchildren; Quincey, Jamison, Taylor, Wyatt, Riggs, Bronson, Brock, Maelyn, Rogan, Morgan and Daegen.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Melvyn, her paren ts, 3 brothers; George, Richard and Roy, 2 great-grandsons; Little Mel and Austin.

Private burial ceremony will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be April 12th at 2pm-6pm at the American Legion, 300 E. Si Johnson Ave., Sheridan, IL.
