Julie Ann Rajca age 83 of Aurora, IL, passed away on March 1, 2025. Julie was born in Chicago to William and Gertrude Marwedel. She grew up in Mount Prospect Illinois and attended Arlington High School. After rising through the admin staff at Allstate Insurance, she completed an associate degree in marketing from Northwestern University. She spent years working in marketing at Allstate and Grainger. Julie and her husband, Jerry raised a blended family of five children in Mount Prospect with weekends at their Wisconsin lake house. In their later years they enjoyed life on their boat and golfing at their Florida home. Julie finally settled in Aurora where she pursued many creative hobbies - sewing, bridge, knitting, building dollhouses, reading, and playing with her beloved dogs. Julie loved to travel and visited places all over the globe with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry. She is survived by her sister Linda (Kurt) Plachetta, her daughter Debbie (Corey) Correnti, son Steve, stepdaughters Sally, Kim (Jimmy) and Robin (Mike), grandchildren Tim (Kasey), Kaitlyn, Kelli, Kaia, Nick, Dalton (Katie), great granddaughter Sienna, and nieces Nicole (Jon) Grommes and Elleanor.
