Joyce Ann Cooney, age 68, of Montgomery, IL, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at her residence. She was born March 11, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Bruno and Helen nee Tomczak Kut. Joyce was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, where she was involved in teaching CCD classes and served as Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Tom Cooney of Montgomery, IL, children Kerry (Dan) Kinch of Aurora, IL, Brian (Julie) Cooney of Yorkville, grandchildren Ryan Cooney of Montgomery, IL, Brayden Kinch of Aurora, IL, Carson, Caden and Colton Cooney of Yorkville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Nolan Kinch and a brother Lawrence Kut. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543. Burial will follow at Mt.
