Joseph G Wcislo, age 81, of Schaumburg, IL formerly of Chicago, IL and Pensacola, FL died with his loved ones at his side on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Alexian Brothers Hospice in Elk Grove Village, IL. He was born June 4, 1941, in Chicago, IL the son of the late Joseph S and Alice A (Kubicki) Wcislo. He was a member of St Joan of Arc Church in Lisle, IL and Nativity Church in Pensacola, FL where in both locations he sang in the choirs. He was a member of the Peace Corp and had served in Kenya. He was a member of the Class of 1959 of St Ignatius Catholic High School and attained a bachelor's degree in business administration from Loyola University in Chicago, IL. Joseph is survived by his wife Dona Maria (Garcia) Wcislo, a daughter Sarah Wcislo, three sisters Anita (Jon) Brennan, Alice (Ross) Radke, Charlene (John) LiBrizzi, four brothers David Wcislo, Paul (Christine) Wcislo, Len (Sandy) Wcislo, Bob Wcislo, also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers James Wcislo and Denny Wcislo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 820 Division St., Lisle, IL. Inurnment will follow at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery in Naperville, IL, Memorials may be directed to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
