Jose Martinez, 60, of Yorkville, IL passed away unexpectedly at Sherman Hospital on April 23, 2020. Born to Jose and the late Maria Rodriguez in Lares, Puerto Rico, he is remembered by his family as loving husband, father and caring Poppa. He is preceded in death by his mother, and survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Carmen Martinez (nee Figueroa). Also surviving are his sons, Joseph (Renee) and Roberto (Tiffany) Martinez, and his grandchildren Joseph, Ezekiel, Neveah, Sophia, Adrian, and Hunter. An honorable, caring, loving, man who is loved and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 12 pm at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.
