Jonathan Mario Chavez, 19, of Aurora, IL, passed away at Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora on March 11, 2021. Born in 2001 to Anacelis (nee Perez; maiden name) and Jose Mario Chavez. Growing up, Jonathan loved all sports – he always had a basketball in his hand; once he even broke a rib trying to do BMX tricks on his bike. Always very active, Jonathan loved going to Sky Zone, boxing, traveling, and going out to eat. At 19 years old, you could always find Jonathan driving very fast with the music as loud as he could get it. He loved cars, especially his Charger, and collected sneakers. When Jonathan wasn't surrounded by all of his friends, you could find him snuggled up with is little sister, Angelique. Jonathan wore his heart on his sleeve and always told his loved ones how much he loved them. Jonathan is survived by his parents, Anacelis and Jose Mario Chavez; his sister, Angelique Chavez; and too many beloved friends and family members to name. A visitation will take place on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M., with a funeral service at 3:30 P.M at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 1801 S.
