John (Jack) Francis Zoda died in his home on March 10, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. Jack was born April 29, 1944, in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Rose (Betty) Zoda. He married Diane, the love of his life, and retired from a printing company after more than forty years of service. He spent his retirement with his beloved family traveling and making memories. He was an avid Bears fan (even though his wife is a diehard Packers fan) and loved to watch Nascar. He is survived by his wife Diane, his sons Don (Carol) and Daniel (Kimberly) Thorpen. His grandchildren Sydney (Kyle Sibert), Cole, Jarrid and Lyla Thorpen. His great grand children Kayden, Zayne and Ryker Sibert and Lucas Thorpen. He was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter Crystal Crandell Thorpen and his sister Rosemary Rogers. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL 60543.
