John Vanderlinden, 73, formerly of Oswego, IL passed on Saturday, August 14, 2021. He was born on January 26, 1948 in Aurora, Il to the late Jack and Mildred nee Woolley Vanderlinden. John attended Oswego High School, Waubonsee Community College and Illinois State University. He served on the Oswego Village Board, was involved in the Oswego Men's Softball League, the Oswegoland Park District, member of the Third Ward Club and the Tiger Club. He was a Union Carpenter, Superintendent and Project Manager. His career allowed him to travel across the country. John is survived by his daughters, Jeana (Mike) Hebert of Sheridan, Jenifer (Shane) Tripp of Somonauk, Jodeen (Steve) Krafft of Sandwich, grandchildren, Lee Hebert of Austin, TX, Chloe Hebert of Georgetown, KY, Austin, Marissa and Spencer Tripp of Somonauk, Grace and Emma Krafft of Sandwich; his brother Bill (Mary) Vanderlinden of Indiana, his sister Nancy Vanderlinden of Montgomery, IL, numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by the mother of his children Joann Vanderlinden of Hinkley, IL. Cremation was accorded by his wishes with no services. Memorials may be directed to the Family, P. O.
