They raised their family to be strong and supportive of one another. John was a decorated Vietnam veteran earning two purple hearts while he was in the 1st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army. John lived his life always thinking of others and helping those in need. He was a man of strong faith who loved his country. He adored and was extremely proud of his three grandchildren and loved family trips with them to Disney's Old Key West resort in Florida.
