John R Morton, age 72, of Oswego, IL died Friday, January 9, 2015 at this residence. He was born March 18, 1942 in Chicago, IL the son of the late John R and Jane nee Rickard Morton. John was an engineer working for various organizations and retiring in 2007 after working for 15 years as a project engineer for Motorola in Schaumburg, IL. He served honrably in the US Air Force. John is survived by his wife Carol J nee Georgevich, a daughter Deborah (Jeri Beverland) Morton of Bolingbrook, IL, a son Michael (Amy) Morton of Naperville, IL, two grandchildren Maxwell and Logan Morton and a sister in law Lynette (John) Litton of Dyer, IN. He was also preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Jacobs.
