John "Jack" Mitchell Age 95 of Evanston, IL at rest peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Three Crowns Park, Evanston, IL. He was born September 7, 1929, in Aurora, IL the son of the late Howard and Martha (Nee Nadan) Mitchell.

John is survived by his loving wife Dorena nee Van Voorhes Mitchell, son, Paul Mitchell and sister, Sabra Mitchell.

Preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Katherine "Katie" Mitchell, and brother, James Mitchell.

A memorial gathering for John will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 10:30 A.M. until time of service 11:30 A.M. at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Road Oswego, IL 60543.

Inurnment will follow at Oswego Township Cemetery, Oswego, IL.
