John "Jack" McCleary, of Oswego, age 62 at rest peacefully on August 15, 2022, at Accentcare Hospice Center in Naperville, IL. He was born February 2, 1960, in Joliet, IL, the son of the late John and Doris nee Keen McCleary. He was retired from 30 years of working for H. Linden & Sons. John was a volunteer fireman for the Village of Oswego for many years. He is survived by his devoted wife Jennifer "Jen" nee Gramme McCleary; children Kristi McCleary, John E. (Taryn) McCleary, Jessica Fitzpatrick, Alexandra "Allie" (Jonny) Maye, Chloe (Cordero Dickey) Darnell, Jake Fitzpatrick; grandchildren Amelia, Kendahl, Olliver, Havyn, Piper, Remi, Serenity, Cecilia; siblings Jane (Ed) Wiekert, Brenda (Rick) Hicks, Connie (the late Earl) Modlin, Jim (Lisa) McCleary; father and mother-in-law Gordon (Lynn) Gramme, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
