John Neal Baugher

John was born April 21, 1945, in Jefferson City, MO, to Russell and Harriet (Ingram) Baugher.

He died August 15, 2023, in OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois, after a prolonged battle with heart disease.

John served in the US Army, stationed in Germany.

He enjoyed attending farm auctions, collecting antiques and machinery. He also enjoyed reading widely, traveling, and protecting the wildness of natural surroundings.

John was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, brother Fred Arthur Baugher, and sister Theresa Joy Rose.

He is survived by three brothers, James (Kathi), David, and Gerald (Reneé), and sister Ruth (Robert) Higby, and his devoted companion, Marcia Tripodi and his nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 200 West Church Street in Sheridan, Illinois.
