Joanne Pawlowski, 80 years, of Yorkville, IL died, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, August 4, 2017. She was born April 1, 1937 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Frederick and Josephine nee Waltling Robotham. Joanne was a member of New Life Church of Yorkville, IL, Aurora Moose Lodge #400 and Alpha Beta Phi Sorority. She enjoyed shuffleboard, cards, bingo, socializing and the coffee clubs. (The Village Ladies and Tuesday Morning Group) She is survived by her family Fred (Vicki) Pawlowski of Rochelle, IL, Shari (Ed) Wilson of Yorkville, IL, Lynn McCauley of Yorkville, IL, David Pawlowski of White Bluff,TN, TJ Pelkey of Lake Worth, FL, grandchildren Amy and Emily Wilson of Yorkville, IL, Laura (Steve) Popdan of Aurora, IL, Leanne (Matt) Weber of Plano, IL, great granddaughters Macy and Maddie Popdan of Aurora, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband David G. Pawlowski, son Bret Pawlowski, sisters Betty Gilmore, Dorothy Rauscher, Linda Barnett, Ruth Koester and brother Charles Robotham. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 10:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM at New Life Church of Yorkville 3205 Cannonball Trail Yorkville, IL. Cremation took place followed by inurnment at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bristol, IL. Memorials may be directed to Rush Copley Cancer Care Center 2000 Ogden Ave Aurora, IL 60504.
