Jesus Humberto Islas Sr. of Oswego, IL lost his battle to cancer on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. Jesus was born on August 14, 1975 in Rio Grande City, TX to Tiburcio Islas and Antonia Islas. Jesus graduated from Westwood College and ITT Technical Institute. He had a strong passion for technology where he made a career off of his technological knowledge and web designing. As an advocate for sports, he enjoyed cheering for his Dallas Cowboys and Club América soccer team. But above all, he was a family man first and put his wife and kids above everything else. Jesus is survived by his wife Hilda Islas, his two sons Leonardo Islas and Jesus Islas, his brothers Ruben Islas, Hector Islas, and Marco Islas, and his many nieces and nephews. A private service will be held for his family on February 2, 2021 at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543 at 3 o'clock. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. A Jesús le sobreviven su esposa Hilda Islas, sus dos hijos Leonardo Islas y Jesús Islas, sus hermanos Rubén Islas, Héctor Islas, y Marco Islas, y sus sobrinos y sobrinas. Un servicio privado se dará a cabo para su familia el 2 de febrero del 2021 en Dunn Family Funeral Home seguido de crematorio, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543 a las 3 de la tarde.
