Jessie M VanDeventer, age 93, of Punta Gorda, FL formerly of Bristol, IL died Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Tidwell Hospice in Port Charlotte, FL. Jessie was born August 13, 1924 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Fred and Mary nee Stratz Pierce. Jessie is survived by her children Debra Hull, Bruce (Sharon) VanDeventer, Daniel (Celia) VanDeventer, loving niece Roberta (Dan) Hollingsworth, daughter in law Norma VanDeventer, nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and sister Verna Faul. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur VanDeventer, son Tom VanDeventer, granddaughter Tammy VanDeventer, two grandsons Dale VanDeventer, Jimmy Osborn, two sisters Sharon Ford, Roberta Gamble, two brother's ok Gene Pierce, Edward Pierce and a niece Denna Turner.
