Jessie Floyd Sexton 78 age Aurora, IL died April 04, 2015 a Delnor Community Hospital. He was born April 26, 1936 in Wise County, VA, son of the late Henry and Maggie Lawson Sexton. He was a new member of the West Prairie Worship Center in Aurora, IL. Prior to retirement he was employed as a Coal Minor and at Furnas Electric in West Chicago, IL. Jessie is survived by his wife Lillie Mae (Gibson) Sexton, (whom he married on November 21, 1959 in Wise County, Va.), three daughters Juanitta (Carson) Green of Harding, IL, Connie (Dave) Gordon of Pontiac, IL, Linda (Joe) Armstrong of Marseilles, IL, two sons Jessie (Margaret Key) Sexton of Plano, IL, Jeff (Melody) Sexton of Montgomery, IL, eighteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, two sisters Josephine Utch and Pansy (H.L.) Browning both od Sterling, IL, three brothers Garnett (Mary) McCoy of Montgomery, IL, John Riner of North Carolina, Ahrlis Riner of Corbin, VA, also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Deborah Salmon, three grand children Jonathan, Opie, and Brianna Sexton, two sisters Dixie McCoy, Bessie Cox ad two brothers Robert Clinton and Frank Sexton. Jessie favorite nephew Carnie Sexton of Corbin, Va. Favorite pass time was camping at Rolling Oaks, fishing, and riding his golf cart. In loving life itself he loved gardening, canning, and decorating for all Holidays. He was quite the crafter. Pallbearers are: Jeffery Sexton, Jessie Sexton, Mary Sexton, Scott Cejka, Crystal Cejka, Shawn Cejka, Cody Decker, and Eddie Howard Visitation will take place at the West Prairie Worship Center 39 W 550 Prairie St. Aurora, IL from 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 7,2015. Funeral service will be held on at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the church with Pastor Don Pounds officiating.
