Jeffrey Alan Thompson, 52 years of Sandwich, IL died suddenly on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in an auto incident.

He was born January 23, 1970, in Aurora, IL.

He was a member of the Class of 1988 of Oswego High School. He had worked for the Oswego Township Highway Department for 20 years and had most recently been working as the Sandwich Township Highway Commissioner. He was an avid car enthusiast and a member of the Old Koots Car Club where he was affectionately known as "Kid Koot".

He is survived by his wife Tamara "Tammy" (Torgerson) Thompson (Whom he married on September 7, 1991), two sons Tony Thompson of Chicago, IL, Jake Thompson of Sandwich, IL, his mother Cindy Thompson of Somonauk, IL, sister Jenny (Brian Caywood) Thompson of Las Vegas, NV, In-laws Duane and Liz Torgerson of Oswego, IL and many Car Cruisin' Buddies.

He was preceded in death by his father Alan B. Thompson, brother Brian D. Thompson and grandparents Wilfred A. Lorenz and Arvilla B. nee Baum Lorenz.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL.

There will be no funeral service.

Cremation took place at American Crematory in Oswego, IL.
