Jean Herbert Wilson, age 91, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Jennings Terrace in Aurora, IL. She was born April 16, 1929 in Chicago, IL., the daughter of William P. and Margaret M. (Lomasney) Herbert. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a secretary for Sunbeam Appliances and as a switchboard operator for the DuPage County Heath Department. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. She is survived by her daughter Jean (Donald) Reese of Oswego, IL, grandchildren Hazel and Liam Reese of Oswego, IL, and brother William (Jean) Herbert of Evanston, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert G. Wilson, sister Patricia (Robert) McKillip and brother Kevin (Margaret) Herbert. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543. Cremation will follow with burial of the urn at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Wheaton, IL at a future date.
