Jay "JR/Dick"Richard Beane age 88 of Hinckley, joined his wife in Heaven on Thursday October 14, 2021. He was born October 18, 1932 in Aurora, the son of the late Harvey J. Beane and Mazie L. nee Stauffer Beane. Jay began his lifelong sales career with Peter Wheat Bread Co. He later worked for Baker Dry Cleaner, and Aurora Laundry. In "retirement" he was a co-owner of D & J Packaged Liquors in Hinckley. Jay was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Hinckley, The Loyal order of Moose, Aurora Lodge 400. Where he was a past governor and holds the Pilgrim Degree. Jay enjoyed gardening, all forms of music, and reading to pass the time. He also treasured time spent with his family. Jay is survived by his children, Nanette (John) Long of Big Rock, Harvey "Jack"(Jina) Beane of Hinckley, and David Beane of Big Rock. 8 Grandchildren Thomas (Amy) Lynch, Calvin (Molly) Lynch, Michael Long, Nikole Beane (Chris), Traci (Justin) Alfredson, Shannon (Travis) Anderson, Ashley Beane and David Beane, as well as 8 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Diane nee Reppy Beane, 3 sisters Virginia Cobb, Ora Miller, Juanita Garbelman, his bother in laws, Ellis Cobb, Harold Miller, Mike Garbelman, and one daughter Jalyn Lynch in 2019. Cremation will take place according to Mr. Beane's wishes, with a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. followed by a time of sharing until 3:00PM, at the Indian Oaks Country Club, Shabbona, IL.
