Janice Teresa Willhite of Yorkville, IL on Saturday, September 30, 2017 died with her loving family at her bedside. She was born September 19, 1953 in Columbia, MO the daughter of William J and Peggy R George. Janice was better known as Janee. She was a member of New Life Church of Yorkville, IL. She graduated with the 1971 Class of Hickman High School and received an Associate degree from Columbia College in Columbia, MO. She had a passion for Christian worship music and has directed and sung in many choirs and Christian worship events. Janee is survived by her parents, William J. and Peggy R. George, her husband Michael R Willhite, a daughter Caree (Michael) Amtsberg of Plano, IL, three sons David (Demelza) Willhite of Chicago, IL, Stephen (Amber) Willhite of Bolingbrook, IL, Justin (Amy) Willhite of Minooka, IL, five grandchildren Emilee Amtsberg, Brantley Willhite, Maycee Amtsberg, Scott Willhite, Chelsee Amtsberg, also two more soon to come grandchildren, a sister Julie (Steve) Alsberge of Columbia, MO, two brothers William (Maree) George of Hudson, WI, Jon (Kim) George of Austin, TX, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at New Life Church of Yorkville 3205 Cannonball Trail Yorkville, IL 60560 on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jon Lawson officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bristol, IL.
