Janet Wegner Woolfitt 7-31-1942, age 82

Passed away peacefully with her husband John at her side at Bickford of Oswego, Mary B's Memory Care on Saturday November 23rd, 2024.

Janet was the pride of her family. She was well respected, well educated, a published author, kind and loving and always thought of others first.

She is survived by her husband John Woolfitt and step-daughter Katharine Coleman(Scot) and family, her sister-in-law Linda Wegner and niece Penny Marshall(Rod) and nephew Steve Wegner(Russell)

She is preceded in death by her parents, Adeline and Herbert Wegner, and brothers, Russell and Rod Wegner.

A service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday December 7th, 2024 at Minooka United Methodist Church, 1210 Ridge Rd. Minooka, IL 60447 at 11:00 a.m.
