James Vincent Perozzi Jr. a lifelong Joliet area resident, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2022, at Ascension Mercy Hospital Aurora, IL. James was born on June 8,1936 in Chicago Heights, IL. the son of James V. Sr. and Nina (nee Kegley) Perozzi. Retired from the Internal Revenue Service with 32 years of service as Midwest Regional Manager. He was an avid golfer and bowler. James is survived by his children; Andrea (Jim) O' Reilly, Marcie (David) Beck and Vince (Jenny) Perozzi. Grandchildren; Isabelle Beck, Max Beck, James Perozzi, and Niko Perozzi. Siblings; Mary (Shelby) Freeman, David (Carol) Perozzi, William (Judy) Stickles, Nancy (Hector) Gonzales. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Herbert Perozzi and Joe Perozzi. As it was his request cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be private.
