James F MacGregor, age 81, of Oswego, IL died Friday, December 7, 2018 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. He was the son of James F and Marion E nee Ladd MacGregor. He served his country honorably with the US Air Force from 1958 to 1962. He was the owner of MacGregor Automation Controls in Glendale Heights and Lombard, IL. He was a sailing and ham radio enthusiast. He is survived by his wife Carmen V MacGregor, two daughters Tama K MacGregor, Kristen A MacGregor, three sons Carl E (Monica) Henley, Richard C Henley, Gary M Henley, fourteen grandchildren Nicole (Jeff) Bogard, Cara (Nick Kuhlmeyer) Henley, Amanda MacGregor, Sean (Dawn) MacGregor, Joshua MacGregor, Lauren (Alex) Martelli, Brooke (Peter) Varga, Zach Stedman, Katie Stedman, Will Stedman, Samantha Henley, Sophie Henley, Danny Zywek, Carl E Henley, Jr, nine great grandchildren Skylar, Lia, Jadyn, Arianna, Christian, Kylee, Jack, Lincoln, Leo, a sister Carol Cissel, two brothers Robert (Sandra) MacGregor, Barry (Mary) MacGregor and his beloved canine friend Chauncey. He was also preceded in death by son, Robert and brother Bruce MacGregor. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
