James Daniel "Jim" Horn, 75 years, of Oswego, IL died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at his home. He was born October 13, 1940 in Council Bluff, IA the son of the late Robert F and Gladys B nee Jachens Horn. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a private limo driver/security. He was a member of St Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. He was involved in traffic and security for Railroad Days in West Chicago, IL. He served on the board of Winding Waters in Oswego, IL. Jim is survived by his wife Barbara nee Klopcic, three children Robin (Hugh) Yates of Montgomery, IL, Kim (Mike) Robinson of Yorkville, IL, Jim (Laurie) Horn of Aurora, IL, nine grandchildren Jenica Aasen, Michael, Mitch, and Chris Robinson, Zachary and Kyle Horn, Brad (Lauren) Yates, Rebecca (Johnathan) Shreves and Melissa Yates. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Funeral Home.
