James Vincent Gribble, age 80, of Montgomery, IL, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Rush Copley Medical Center. He was born April 21, 1938 in Aurora, IL, the son of the late Vincent Gribble and Margaret nee Stephens Massey. James worked as an automobile mechanic. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL and also the 3rd Ward Club. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Mary Ann nee Neill, daughters, Cynthia Johnson of West Plains, MO, Margaret Ann (John) Seale of Yorkville, Anne Marie (John) Huddleston of Ava, MO, Susan (Ed) Giron of Plainfield, sons, James (Mary) Gribble of Plainfield, John (Sandra) Gribble of Serena, IL, grandchildren, Niki Larimore, Grace (Mike) Willis, Thomas (Brandi) Rumohr, John Seale, Ryan (Miranda) Berg, Heather Jonas, Amanda (Jacob) Scaggs, James Seale, Jessica (Sid) Chanthavong, Brooke Lasuer, Jim Gribble, Jennifer (Adam) Cornwell, Matthew Gribble, Michael (Rachel) Gribble, 24 great great grandchildren, sister, Jacqueline Gray of TN, brother-in-law, Matthew Neill of Beaverton, OR, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Margaret Gribble, and his parents. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a funeral service on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S.
