It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Eugene Bailey, Monday, December 2, 2024, at the age of 78.

James was born in Chicago, IL, December 5, 1945. Graduating Amundsen High School in 1964, James went on to be a successful typesetter and business owner of Lakeview Rubber Stamp on the North side of Chicago, until he retired.

James is survived by his loving wife Joyce (Lange) Bailey of 55 years, sons John (Tricia) and Michael (Susan). Five grandchildren Christie, Matthew, Braden, Hayden and Nathen who loved their grandfather very much, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Evelyn (Iverson) Kowalik, siblings Laurie and Roberta Kowalik.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY.
