It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jahanbakhsh Ghaemi, surrounded by his family on September 17, 2026.

Our Baba was the man, the myth, the legend, and so much more.

He was hardworking, honest, calm, and simple, with a great sense of humor and a genuinely sweet soul. He loved Persian poetic music, history books, good food, and his beloved Sudoku puzzles. But above all, he loved his family.

Baba found his greatest happiness in the simple moments of life, especially having his family around him. Some of our best memories are the everyday ones: talking, laughing, eating, or simply sitting together. He was happiest when the house was full and the people he loved were close.

You could often find him in his favorite chair, vodka on the rocks in hand, quietly taking it all in while everyone carried on around him. He didn't need much to be happy. Good food, family nearby, and a Sudoku puzzle were enough.

Baba was also deeply proud of the life he built as an American immigrant. He loved this country and was grateful for the opportunities it gave him.

He taught us that a good life doesn't have to be complicated. The best moments are often the simplest ones: being together, sharing a meal, laughing, and enjoying the people you love.

Baba will be deeply missed, but his love, humor, and the memories we shared will stay with us always.

With love and remembrance, we invite family and friends to join us in celebrating the life of our beloved dad.

His love, kindness, and generous spirit touched the lives of so many. The memories he created, the stories we share, and the lasting impact he made on those around him will remain in our hearts forever.

We would be honored to have you join us as we come together to remember Baba, share stories, cherish memories, and celebrate a life so deeply loved.
