Jacqueline "Jackie" Winfield passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Bright Oaks in Aurora, IL. She was born July 27, 1929, in Naperville, IL. She is the daughter of Orville and Bertha (nee Hoffman) July. Jacqueline adored spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing dominos, card games and square dancing with her husband. She will be remembered for being a kind loving woman with personality to make friends with everyone. She will be missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was a member of the Congregational Church in Batavia. She is survived by two daughters Laura Daukas of Mendota, IL and Judy (Jose) Gonzalez of Oswego, IL; three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Jacqueline is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Wendell "Wennie" [2001]; granddaughter Jennifer Gonzalez; siblings Pat Sidmore, Shirley Lindgren, Paul Peterson and Arthur "Pete" Peterson. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday August 18, 2022, at Spring Lake Cemetery in Aurora, IL. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
