JACQUELINE  F.  KOKES January 21, 1942   -   July 13, 2017   Jacqueline F. Kokes, 75, of Sheridan passed Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.           Jacqueline was born January 21, 1942 in Sterling, IL. to Edward & Helen (Meighan) McGava. She married Robert J. Kokes August 27, 1968 in Sycamore. She retired in 2007 as a mail carrier at the Sheridan Post Office and in the years earlier had also been a carrier in Montgomery, Newark and Somonauk. She had attended the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rutland Twp.           She is survived by her husband, Robert; four children, James Kokes of Aurora, Kathy Kokes of Yorkville, Joe (Wendy) Kokes of Greenwood, IN., Kristine (Brent) Becker of East Nassau, NY.; her five grandchildren, Kelsey Dawn Kokes of Madison, AL., Brian Ziembiec of Albany, NY., Alexander Ziembiec of Albany, NY., Bradley Kokes of Greenwood, IN., Allison Kokes of Greenwood, IN.; two sisters, Mary Martz of Arlington, WA., Margaret Anderson of Montgomery; two brothers John Arthur (Sue) McGava of Camarillo, CA. and Robert McGava of Waterman.           She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Karen Elizabeth Kokes and a brother Don McGava. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the loving care and support given by the Presence St. Joseph medical staff, her personal care giver Amber Cumins and the Naperville Senior & Activities Center.           Visitation will be held Monday, July 17th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home.
