Inez L (Johnson) Florence, age 96, of Naples, FL formerly of Yorkville, IL died Monday, September 19, 2022, at Vitas Inpatient Hospice Center in Naples, FL.

She was born July 19, 1926, in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Charles F and Inez L (Bigger) Johnson.

She was a member of the Oswego Presbyterian Church in Oswego, IL. She was an accomplished dressmaker/seamstress mending and sewing many a prom dress, wedding dress, shortening men's pants and even mistakes of unaccomplished wives trying to sew.

She is survived by her daughters Sandra Kay Florence of Seattle, WA, Gail Ann Dietzman of Naples, FL, a granddaughter Tammy Dietzman-Brown of Leigh Acres, FL, great grandchildren Devon C Dietzman of Naples, FL, Isiah Brown-Dietzman of Leigh Acres, FL and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Vernon C Florence and twin sister Ione M Johnson.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL.

The body will lie in state on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Oswego Presbyterian Church, 1976 Rt 25, Oswego, IL 60543.

Interment will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park, Rt 30, Aurora, IL 60503.
