Ileen B Faxon, age 96, of Oswego, IL , a former resident of Constitution House in Aurora, IL died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born March 2, 1919 the daughter of the late Robert Benjamin and Cecelia nee Jordal Jacobson. She had worked as an inspector for the US government during World War II, Stoners Mfg. in Aurora, IL and Paasche Airbrush Mfg. in Chicago, IL prior to her retirement. Ileen is survived by a son Rodney (Bette) Faxon, Jr of Oswego, IL, a step daughter Charlotte Thompson of Salem, IN, daughters-in-law Carole Faxon of Aurora and Vicki Faxon of Chesterfield, VA, twelve grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and a number of great-great granchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ephraim Iverson (father of Rod and Richard Faxon), second husband Rodney J Faxon (father of Robert); two sons, Richard and Robert, a sister Marie Hardy, and three brothers Merle, Alvin and Ralph Jacobson. Ileen will be fondly remembered by family, friends and everyone she met for her sweet smile, gentle heart and delicious brownies which she baked with love until the age of 95. Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Hinckley, IL.
