Hollis W. Davis, age 79, of Montgomery, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, IL. He was born January 30, 1937, in Pleasant Ridge, Mississippi, the son of Roy and Hattie Davis. He worked many years at All Steel Equipment in Montgomery, IL. After his retirement, Hollis enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to casinos. He also loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He was always there to help others in need. He is survived by his children Brenda (Henry) Rodriguez of Aurora, IL, Janice Van Riper (Donny Little) of Oswego, IL, Diana Logan of Montgomery, grandchildren Jamie (Katie) Davis, Tim (Jessica) Schofield, Michael Schofield, Amber Logan, Aimie Logan, Mark Logan, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters Eula Potts, Mary (Charles) White, Maggie (Darell) Bridges, Dolly (James) Brock, brothers Thomas (Loretta) Davis, Ellis (Debbie) Davis, Billy (Paulette) Davis, Johnny (Belva) Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Hazel Davis, sisters Helen Davis, Janie Hall and a brother William. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.
