Christa Holdeman, age 82, of Oswego, IL died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Alden of Waterford in Aurora, IL. She was born November 6, 1931 in Berlin, Germany the daughter of the late Henrich and Erna nee Beckmann Haase. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Oswego, IL. Christa is survived by her husband David L Holdeman (whom she married on July 21, 1952 in Durlach, Germany), two daughters Elaine (Tom Haas) Lavin of Allegan, MI, Ingrid (Gary) Wilmoth of Plainfield, IL, four sons James (Barbara) Holdeman of Wenona, IL, Frank (Angie MacAdam) Holdeman of Carol Stream, IL, John Holdeman of Hanover Park, IL, Rev Eric (Helene) Holdeman of Milford, IA, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL.
