Helen Marie Stuhr, age 88, of Oswego, IL died Monday, January 30, 2017 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born August 16, 1928 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Stephen and Caroline nee Kietyka Gorowski. Prior to Helen's retirement she worked at General Telephone Company in Northlake, IL for many years. She is survived by her daughter Carol Kalinowski, two granddaughters Iris and Rose Kalinowski all of Oswego, IL, a sister Emily Squinto of Romeoville, IL, a brother Leo Gorowski of Naperville, IL, also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Stuhr, three brothers John, Frank and Eddie Novak. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place followed by private burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.
