Harlan "LeRoy" Ricketts, 72, passed away on September 7, 2016 at his home. He was born July 1, 1944 in Monmouth, Illinois to the late Harlan H. and Bonnie Jean nee Dixon Ricketts. LeRoy proudly served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam earning several honors including the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars. He also worked as a core maker for D.R. Sperry & Co. in Aurora for many years. LeRoy is survived by his brother Rich Ricketts, children Tina (Dan) Kmiecik, Elizabeth (Zak) Miller, David Ricketts, Bonnie Jean (John) Larmour; 12 grandchildren; 6 Great-grandchildren; 4 nephews and 3 nieces. He is preceded in death by his son Kevin Ricketts and his sister Marilyn Roberts.
