Grace Deloa Leggett of Montgomery, IL passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Asbury Gardens in North Aurora, IL surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 30, 1929, in Batavia, IL the daughter of the late Ernest and Hallie (Abbott) Montgomery. She was united in marriage of Terry Leggett on June 21, 1957 and spent the next 64 years of their lives together. Grace was a devoted homemaker and cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. She loved her savior Jesus Christ and was an active member of the Harvest New Beginnings Church. She was a second mother to all her kids' friends, nieces and nephews. She was known for her contagious laugh and humor. She was a quiet, sweet lady and will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her husband Terry Leggett, Sr., children Kathleen (Scott) Pugsley, Terry (Lynn) Leggett, Jr., Christine Leggett, Mark (Peggy) Leggett, Cynthia (Darren) Chrisop, Bill (Heather) Leggett, 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was also preceded by her very special grandson Riley Tanner Leggett, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. Visitation will take place at Harvest New Beginnings Church, 5315 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL on Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
