Gloria Hernandez Martinez, 62, passed away on February 7, 2016 surrounded by her family at her home in Aurora. She was born November 11, 1953, the daughter of Domingo M. and Aurora Perales Hernandez in Mexico. Gloria married Samuel Martinez on November 13, 1970 in Aurora, IL. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Aurora where she was also a member of the Bunco Group. She is survived by her husband Samuel; mother Aurora Hernandez; daughters Erica (Arthur Rodriguez) Martinez and Monica Martinez both of Aurora; grandchildren Dominique (Julian) Valadez of Montgomery, Alicia Renteria of Aurora, Jordan Rodriguez of Aurora, and Karina Jaquez of Aurora; great-grandson Liam Valadez; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Gloria is preceded in death by her father Domingo Hernandez and a daughter Elaine Martinez.
