Glen Clarence Rott aged 68 of Oswego, IL passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born December 13, 1951 in Hinsdale, Il, son of George V. Rott and Martha M. Rott nee Rotz. He is survived by his his former wife Susan Rott, and son and daughter, Justin and Bonnie Rott of Oswego; and sisters Joanne L. Pike of Lombard, IL, Ruth Ann (Jeff) Hoehn of Yorkville, IL and Mary Ann Rott of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roy Rott and George Rott. Glen spent his career as a Caterpillar assembler, retiring in 2018. He enjoyed spending time at the Byron drag way, collecting and modeling miniature trains, and working on his car. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, and visiting livestock shows and vehicle/farming exhibition events throughout the state. According to Glen's wishes there will be no visitation nor service before cremation.
