Michelle Rae Gipson, age 27, of Chicago, IL passed away at her residence on January 31, 2014. She was born April 4, 1986, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Allen Reid and Cynthia Reid. She worked many years as a teacher in the special education field. Her greatest passions were her students and anti-bullying messages she shared through music and radio. She is survived by her mother and dad Cynthia & Allen Reid of Aurora, IL, father Richard Alan Gipson of Oswego, IL, sisters Amanda Gipson of Aurora, IL, Rebecca Gipson & Fiancée Jennifer See of Lafayette, IN, maternal grandparents Robert & Inga Rae Hanson of Normal, IL aunt Deb (Jody) Shepherd of Montgomery, IL, uncle Greg (Lori) Hanson of Bloomington, IL, aunt Jean (Scott) Steffes of Newark, IL, cousins, Joe Hanson, Brian Hanson, Brett Hanson, Luke Hanson, Stacy (Edward) Davies, Sara Sheperd, her constant companion, dog Abbey, cats Noel, Harrison, Annabelle and Rue, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents James & Elizabeth Gipson, uncle Jeff Hanson and a cousin Eric Shepherd. A gathering of friends and family will held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from Noon until time of memorial service at 3:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S.
