Gerardo J. Dominguez, age 73 of Aurora, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Aurora, IL.

He was born October 3, 1950 in Mexico, the son of Jacinto Dominguez Vera and Maria Josefina Gomez.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Maria Dominguez, mother Maria, siblings Josefina D. Arellano, Maria D. Villasenor, Lurdes Huerta, Jaime A. Dominguez, Maria Del Rosario Estrada, Aniceto Dominguez, Marcelo Dominguez, Rosa D. Martines, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Jacinto, and brothers Leobardo and Luis Dominguez.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL, 60543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following (11:00 AM) at St. Peter Catholic Church, 925 Sard Avenue, Aurora, IL 60506.
