Gerald William Wade, 52, of Naperville, IL, passed away unexpectedly in North Chicago. He was born in St. Louis to Roger Wade and Sharon Pittman in 1969. He was a loving and devoted father, a son, a friend, a veteran, and a true patriot. Gerald was an avid fisherman, and he greatly enjoyed watching sports- especially the Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Cardinals. Gerald is survived by Katie Wade, his children Jack and Allie Wade, and his parents, Sharon (Rick) Pittman and Roger (Marilyn) Wade. He is also survived by his siblings, Justin (Saru) Wade, Stacy (Ken) Ankele, and Stan (Jessica) Wade; also surviving are Rick Forman, Denny (Linda) Formann, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Kay Formann. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. ' A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego IL 60543. Interment will be at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
