Georgiana F. Cumpata, age 96, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Symphony at the Tillers in Oswego. She was born January 21, 1921 in St. Marie, IL, the daughter of Charles and Bertha nee Brookfield Kocher. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego since 1959. She is survived by her children John Cumpata, James (Martha) Cumpata, Nancy (Gary) Green, grandchildren Cathy (Joe) Montalbano, Jenny (Patrick) Tucker, Sarah (Shawn) Eggers, Chris (Julie) Cumpata, Karen (Rich) Kelly, Jamie (Steven) Fox, Meg Boyle, Rachel Noffsinger, Ali Noffsinger, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eli, daughter Cheryl, granddaughter Julie and 4 brothers and 5 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL, 60543.
