Georgia Ruth Howorth age 87, at rest March 29, 2023, residing at Ignite Medical Resort in McHenry.

She was born December 1, 1935, in Champaign, IL. The daughter of the late Leland Wesley and Vera Ruth Hickernell.

She was a member of the Welcome Wagon, Easterseals, and Past President of the JCs all of Waterloo, IA. Georgia enjoyed knitting, cooking, sewing, playing cards and Bridge. She loved more than anything, time with her family. When not raising 5 kids, Georgia was a Realtor with Coldwell Banker in Naperville, IL.

She is survived by her four children, David Howorth of Antioch, Cathy (Donald) Stout of Joliet, Gayle (Greg) Kaufmann of Wonder Lake, and Daniel Howorth (Cindy) of Channahon, Grandmother of twelve, Great Grandmother of twenty two. Great-Great grandmother of seven. Sister Carolyn (Ron) Barclay, sister-in-law Gail Howorth, sister-in-law Judy Hickernell and of many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William Howorth, parents, son James Howorth, sister Jean (Peter) Molitor, sister Jan (Charles) Barker, brother Frank Hickernell, brother- in- law Richard (Sandra) Howorth, and brother-in-law Charles Howorth.

Family and friends may gather on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service 12:00 NOON at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Road Oswego, IL. 60543.

Interment will follow Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to the Alzheimer's Association 8430 W. Bryn Maur Suite 800 Chicago, IL. 60631 would be appreciated.
