Loretta Clara Gates, 91 years, of Montgomery, IL died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at The Tillers in Oswego, IL. She was born June 18, 1923 in Nekoosa, WI the daughter of the late Louis and Martha nee Hupke Fredricksen. Loretta was a member of the Montgomery Memorial VFW Post #7452 Auxiliary and formerly a member of the Eagles Club of Aurora, IL. Loretta is survived by a daughter Cheryl Scott of Glen Ellyn, IL, a son Robert (Sherri) Larsen of Nekoosa, WI; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; a sister Jeanette Houston of Aurora, IL, brother Melvin (Jackie) Fredricksen of Lawton, OK, also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard 'Rusty' Gates, grandson James Christian, sister Lorraine Fredricksen, four brothers Albert, Lomar 'Bud', Louie and Fredrick Fredricksen. A memorial service will be held in the future to be determined by the family.
